Leather Tools!

My oh my how lucky do I feel!

When I was younger, my mother (I grew up in a very rural area on a farm, so this isn’t quite as strange as it might seem at first) used to do leather design. She didn’t sew or make projects from it, but rather she did decorations on finished leather products. It’s basically relief done in leather, and I’m sure at least some of you know what I’m referring to. It can be very pretty, and also very intricate. It involves a small hammer and different shaped steel heads on a handle, and you tap the design into the leather with the hammer, more or less.

Well, I was just gifted with her old set, as she doesn’t have the patience for anything like that these days. Although I don’t have my hands on it yet, I absolutely can’t wait.

But that’s not all! I also acquired a leather punch (in a nice 7mm size) as well as a riveter and a multitude of rivets in silver and black. You put a hole where necessary or desired in with the leather punch and a hammer, and then you use the riveter to secure a seemless metal ring around the hole that protects it on the inside and both sides. It gets even better – it was all less than six dollars.

I am positively titillated! There is just so much potential for all this; cuffs, anklets, corsets, boot tops, collars…where do the options end?

I’m not entirely sure what I’ll do first, but I can definitely say that I can not wait to have time to devote myself to such fulfilling pursuits.

Of course, it doesn’t hurt that Master is always greatly pleased when I gush about whatever my newest creation is. Especially when they’re kinky or lifestyle related. Especially if they’re things He gets to use. Mmmmm.
